I have these random moments when I will suddenly think about Kenneth Lonergan's MARGARET. When I first saw it years ago, it didn't click but now years later I feel haunted by it.
I was just thinking about it the other day for some reason. My favorite Lonergan is still You Can Count on Me (a film I deeply love) but I should revisit Margaret at some point.

There is an extended cut of Margaret that's around 3 hours long. I think I only saw the theatrical cut. Apparently the film was plagued with all kinds of issues that I didn't know about when I first saw it. I am seriously considering re-visiting it for the podcast.

I've seen You Can Count on Me! Laura Linney is so underrated. I miss her and don't see her in many things these days, which is a shame.

I love Laura Linney. It was also the film that introduced me to Mark Ruffalo, and what an introductory performance it was.
