And look what you got instead cause you got hung up on that and wasted your vote on someone with NO chance of winning...

lol sanders would have won if we didn't have such a deeply entrenched narrative about the need for the democrats to be "pragmatic," corporate center-right capitalists. look at the leftist movement gaining momentum in this country. look at ocasio-cortez, etc. it's inspiring.

HRC won, got screwed by your frankly stupid and badly in need of overhaul system, so this "but Sanders WOULD have won" stuff is imo a nonstarter.

it'll be a cold day in hell before i support corporate, pro-military democrats. as a trans woman, an anti-capitalist who thinks income inequality will ruin us all & who is committed to abolishing white supremacy & american imperialism, i can't and won't. make your pleas elsewhere

Right, so you condemn yourself and others with this rhetoric to GoP governance...

No, I'm fighting for representation by politicians like Ocasio-Cortez and others who speak unflinchingly about the need for dramatically different policies. You can conveniently ignore the headway being made by groups like the DSA, but it's real, and it matters.

The US is a two party system, until that changes it's Dems or GoP.

that's why we need to fight to make the dems an actual party of the left, not a party of the right that's marginally better on social issues but just as imperialistic and capitalist

Well how you hope to do that by saying "we won't engage with them til they do as we say 100%" is beyond me....

moderates help to maintain the status quo, not to change it. it's that simple. change is happening. a leftist movement is gaining momentum. ideas that were once thought of as ludicrous (living wages, single-payer healthcare, etc.) are becoming increasingly palatable.

none of that is thanks to people who fall in line and support the "pragmatic" wing of the democratic party.

And again, you'd rather the hard right over the moderate when those are the ONLY realistic outcomes?
