This is a derailing tactic. You don't give a fuck about those women. You're not working to liberate them. You just say shit like this as a way of saying "Some people have it worse so stop fighting to make your own life better." But we won't. Our culture has a long way yo go, too.

It doesn't matter. When you use it as a way of trying to silence women who are fighting against sexism and misogyny in this culture, you're fucking up, big time.

Actually, it's the belief that the ideas about gender, race, and other aspects of identity that are presented in games, films, TV shows, etc. have no impact on our culture that's delusional. They have a huge impact.

Hahaha. Okay. That's simply untrue. It's sociology 101 stuff. Media has an influence. Otherwise advertising and propagnda wouldn't exist. And if you can't understand that, then there's literally nothing for us to talk about.

And our videos are VERY CLEAR about the fact that the problem isn't a one-to-one, "monkey see, monkey do" issue. It's way more complicated than that. That doesn't mean the ideas have no impact on our culture at large. They do.

You don't seem to even have a clear idea about what it is you're arguing against.
