Um, it doesn't make any difference if I play it or not. It's all the people who do play them and uncritically absorb the misogynistic ideas in those games, as well as tons of movies, TV shows, and other aspects of our culture.

This is a derailing tactic. You don't give a fuck about those women. You're not working to liberate them. You just say shit like this as a way of saying "Some people have it worse so stop fighting to make your own life better." But we won't. Our culture has a long way yo go, too.

It doesn't matter. When you use it as a way of trying to silence women who are fighting against sexism and misogyny in this culture, you're fucking up, big time.

Actually, it's the belief that the ideas about gender, race, and other aspects of identity that are presented in games, films, TV shows, etc. have no impact on our culture that's delusional. They have a huge impact.

Also keep in mind that people on "your side" also often "fight against fictional characters." Look at the huge backlash Rose Tico in The Last Jedi got for being an Asian woman. So people on your side also know this stuff matters. You just like pretending that you think it doesn't

So you believe anyone criticizing any creative choice in anything is wrong to do so, whether that choice is being criticized by feminists for promoting sexism or by people on the right for promoting "feminism" or "SJW-ism"? Well, at least you're consistent. Wrong, but consistent.
