I know it sucks, but don't blame therapy - or your therapist. When you're hungry, a doc can't give you meds to solve it, a shrink can't talk you out of hunger - what will heal you is actually eating food. Same with a need for love and companionship.

What the therapy can help you with, though, is get you to a better mental place, a better starting point so you can actually find the connection you're craving. Yes, it's hard. Yes, it takes time. But it works. Trust yourself. We love you, Carolyn.
