The more Octopath I play, the more baffled and frustrated I become with its narrative design. What's the point of a party if there aren't elements binding them together? They form far more developed relationships with people in their individual stories than they do w/each other.

There are things about it I really like, and things I don't. I'd recommend playing the demo, it gives you a great sense of the game and you can transfer your progress into the full game if you decide to buy it.
