it baffles me honestly, do angry men have nothing better to do than obsess over such utterly immaterial things? Like it literally doesn't affect them in any way, or do they really just search for anything that will fuel their reactionary propaganda vehicle, it's ridiculous...

They are so used to having images of women in comic book spaces cater to them and be designed with their desires and fantasies in mind that when images come along that don't do that they feel cheated.

The main issue is that the newest She-Ra doesn't conform to mainstream western ideas about artistic standards. I think it's a good thing to break out of the molds that Andrew Loomis among others set up, but it needs time to get used to it (thread)
