Today w @cvpayne I talked about how politics has replaced religion for too many in this country. As we have ceded more control to government, it has eroded responsibility, focus on community and even family. The effects on society are playing out real time and it isn't pretty.

What’s your opinion on cutting back on the employment numbers of our fed govt jobs? (Personally I exclude the military and the like) More towards the building and buildings of paper jockeys in each city... Seems we don’t cut back on those jobs anymore. Which to me is odd. Thanks!

People in government now are more worried about making a career out of it versus doing their job. Congress plays the blame game on whomever is president, then blames whichever party has majority in the Supreme Court as to why nothing gets done. We are in a sad, sad spot

It has. Such a fine line for me. I think our leaders need morals, and the best morals follow the 10 commandments and Judeo Christian values. I only got involved in trying to spread conservative ideas because people were trying to force their ideas on me by government fiat!
