I can understand the frustration here and people should be updated about how they are being marketed. At the same time it seems like there's some gender-blind politics going on here that diminish the importance of non-masculine creative spaces

They did. Myself included. I had no problem with standing alongside female identifying, transgendered and non-binary people, because it made me feel empowered. CEP and her privilege speak for themselves.

i also understand that not every artist has the privilege to step down from bookings like this, but i’m sure after years in the electronic music industry it would get tiring being reduced to ur gender identity
