Thousands are gathered here in Flatbush today in a rally against police brutality. There’s speakers by the Parkside Ave subway stop, & people playing music closer to the entrance of Prospect Park It’s hot out here, and most people are wearing both sunglasses and masks

Wanna emphasize that there’s a lot of solidarity between people in the parked cars and the marchers. Lots are beeping and clapping. One is beeping in the rhythm to the “no justice / no peace” chant

Marchers are heading down Flatbush Ave now. A couple of marchers are moving no parking cones and barricades out of the way to make more room for the people walking in the street

An activist speaking on the steps of Borough Hall, to all the people who want to support but can’t walk today: “You can donate, share,” he said. “Think about all of the black and brown people that you love.”
