    In medical school we were taught that the cardinal signs of a heart attack for everyone was chest pain radiating to the arm or jaw, sweating, feeling like there's an elephant on the chest, and a sense of impending doom. Except that's not what women experience at all. 1/

    I love & listen to it all the time*... but ALL its presenters are white (M-F 7am-10pm; wkd mornings. Don't know what happens outside that.) I wrote to its Controller last yr to complain about that... & got no response(!) So a person of colour presenting is v. welcome!

    3/ Why, given GW's focus on 'global poverty' ie., sub-Saharan Africa, are all its staff are in the US. How many of them have ever spent >4 months living in Africa. How many of them are fluent in French, given how much of SSA is francophone. What they're doing about l/t outcomes.

    2/ Why no recs relating to any minority / women's issues. Why their filter is on things that have loads of RCTs, given that RCTs in low-income countries are known to be concentrated in peaceful, anglophone places, ie., don't represent the full gamut of need.

    What Qs do you have for Give Well? I'm talking to its boss soon. Eg: Why it recommends so few charities. Why its recs barely ever change. What, then, its ~20 staff do all day. Why its recs are all single-intervention direct service delivery orgs. Why no recs related to Covid.
