    Laura is many things: an incredible community builder, an idea generating machine, a generous colleague and friend, and the reason I own two copies of Best American Food Writing 2020. We'll miss her so much!

    Today is my last day after 5.5 years. Thx to my colleagues, readers, and those who trusted me to tell their stories. I'm headed to a new career adventure I hope to announce soon. My farewell column on how we can work together to help DC dining thrive:
