The utter utter perversion of this. The idea that we need Voter ID to combat election fraud from a PM whose Brexit campaign LITERALLY COMMITTED ELECTION FRAUD is grotesque. It's an assault not just on our democracy, but the English language

  3. That these election fraudsters now looking to deprive 2 million people of vote on grounds of suspected voter fraud is an obscenity. A govt capable of perverting English language in this way in order to win elections by denying people their democratic rights is utterly degraded

A Government that lies to our faces, breaks the law when it suits it & has no obvious comprehension of right & wrong now plans to restrict our right to protest, restrict legal challenges against its policies & suppress our democratic right to vote

There are more ongoing investigations into Boris Johnson’s conduct than annual voter fraud convictions. The government is chasing fallacies while real threats to democracy are being ignored, or actively encouraged. 🔴 New report

  12. The ONLY reason Cameron assumed he’d get away with this is because he knows govt doesn’t comply with law. Ministers assume their personal comms are exempt from public scrutiny. This shows exactly why they must not be. Please help this case if you can

Our only hope is indeed when rich people (the FT being the mouthpiece for many of them) take on other rich people. UK libel law is on so many levels a disgrace — and it needs reform before it bankrupts more honest journalists.
