Solidarity to @neil_ferguson. He's not a politician. He's a scientist. Who's had his privacy invaded by a newspaper with a pretty clear political agenda. Any country that fails to defend its scientists from political interference frankly doesn't deserve them

@neil_ferguson is not employed by govt. He does not make policy. He did not make lockdown rules. He does not decide when they're lifted. And he broke them *in the privacy of his own home*. He is an independent scientist. Honestly, who are we as a country if we don't defend that?Show this thread
