    I have driven across the USA twice and, hands down, the highest concentration of random weirdos along the side of the highway is in New Hampshire. Today I saw a woman wearing nothing but hiking boots. I don’t think she was hitchhiking, but uh, maybe?

    Work at a trade publication instead of going to grad school for journalism. Work with whomever will hire you, even if you’ve never heard of them and no one you know reads them. You’ll learn a lot more about journalism and skip the debt.
