    More details released on the Nicehash breach. It sounds like an endpoint compromise allowed the theft of engineer credentials, then attacker pivoted through their VPN to access production systems and figured out payments. Attack timeline spanned 3 hours.

    cant have the friction for developers dude..."2FA slows them down". The "no friction" for developer culture is responsible for many many breaches or at a minimum (and i'm being nice here) a LARGE reduction of security posture

    It's amazing to me that had $60M worth of assets and didn't: 1.) Have a cold wallet. At all. 2.) Have security alerting around VPN access to production systems 3.) Have 2 factor auth for said VPN systems
