I give far more than 4 hours for democracy and I have no employees. Your tweet seems kind of self-righteous. Do you really think the people on your list don’t give their people time to vote? Did you ask them?

I'm asking people to close their business down to ensure that employees have PLENTY of time to do their civic duty. It's not just about giving people the time but making it clear that's voting should be a priority.

I don’t think the close-down-the-shop-all-at-once challenge makes sense. Not surprised @linuxfoundation does it right, would think @codeforamerica @OReillyMedia and others on the list have progressive PTO policies, already encouraging such activity.
