We plan to wait a few weeks before journal submission, and would be extremely grateful for feedback in that period. So please send any comments, criticisms, etc! 2/2

New preprint, on how *aggregate* recombination modulates: (a) variance in the genetic relatedness of relatives; (b) how rapidly selection purges introgressed DNA. Turns out (a) and (b) are... related! w/ 1/2

Puzzling results in comparing mutation rates in humans and baboons. Great collaboration with Felix Wu, , Alva Strand, Jeff Wall and Carole Ober.

Here's a thread telling the story of our new technique for genetic recording of lineage history during long term evolution experiments. The work was co-led with and in 's lab. Read the paper here:

What do you expect evolution to look like in a microbial population? Check out our new study offering a view of that over 1000 generations in yeast in the lab. co-led by , , in 's lab

Our project on genomic architecture, introgression in Heliconius is out! We ( et al) build on work in Heliconius and other systems to show how important hybridization is in evolution. 1/

This comment by GEDmatch not correct, our main approach [IBS tiling] involves uploading real data and so will not be caught by such filters 1/n

My latest with , where we use the ideas from our previous paper to reanalyze three evolve and resequence studies. We find a strong genome-wide effect of linked selection across short timescales, a reversal in the direction of selection, and more!
