    NEW: Microsoft and Apple are attending a meeting on Monday that is pushing for the HHS data-blocking rule to be finalized/ implemented "without further delay." Google, Salesforce and Amazon aren't listed as attending, but it could change.

    Also sign the Code of Confuct PRETTY PLEASE, as we thus far have no policy tool to require this level of transparency regarding privacy practices. Also ask users to review and reconfirm intermittently, inform them of breaches, and when privacy practices change.

    Couldn’t agree with this more. What a blessing to not need to worry about accessing your health data, but once you need to, it should be seamless and comprehensive. As has been said in the , patients should have “More data, less friction.”
