It was the best show I’ve seen in a few years. This video is normal speed and how it appeared to me (and except smoother and more detailed in real life). Part way through I increased my shutter speed (gets darker) because it wasn’t keeping up.

I don’t believe has ever issued a taco watch or warning, not even on a Tuesday. For shame.

This is Mar 1, 2019. The May 24, 2021 photo was taken on the left side of the glacier where there was still lots of ice.

This is a March 3, 2019 panorama looking in the opposite direction. I am standing to the right and above the water fall that you can see in 2021.

Threading this together. Left is Mar 30, 2019. Right is May 24, 2021. In 2021, I'm standing below the 2019 photo where there was ice in 2019. You can barely see the rock pile starting in May. Also note the water fall in the distance in 2021 is covered by 20+ feet of ice in 2019.

Hi, welcome to my channel. In case you weren't aware or forgot, I obsess over the south face of Portage Glacier's rock conveyor belt. I first saw the rock pile in the spring when it was a baby. Parts of it now must be approaching ~10 feet/3 meters. This is a 4 photo panoramic.

You can see a plane, satellites, the fireball around 10 seconds, and then those annoying clouds.

I was looking for the aurora last night, but instead found a fireball.

This diva likes it when I take her pictures. The photos are separated by ~1/10th of a second.

Can there be too many photos of this bird? Hint: The answer rhymes with whoa.

I set the scene for her portrait this evening. Interestingly, she rubbed up against the flowers when she first found them.

Their name suggests they are the rulers of all boletes. Soon they will have to rule from a skillet.

I'm told these are sheep and not goats. Either way, see the one that lays down at the end (upper left)? I'm trying to be that sheep today.
