    This week was the anniversary of our engagement! On a snowy bridge over the Charles, proposed. Right behind us on the bridge was graffiti that said "save the world" 😄 And luckily right then some stranger walked by and helped us take this picture. ❤️ So thankful 😍

    I have to say I'm not ignorant of the fact that women are accorded respect based on how men in leadership give them that respect or echo their ideas. Jake has always had that mindset as CEO and it is his attitude toward women that set that tone at Oklo, not my existence itself.

    Because of how Oklo is (and has always been since I'm 1 of 2 cofounders!), I forget that to the rest of the world, having "women engineers" is seen as rare or "diverse". I think we have diversity in applications from all bc our mission is important to all. I like our oasis. 😊❤️

    A day after i tweeted about being impressed by , their new Director of Nuclear Safety put out this amazing bit of “science” and ad hominem on my company. ☹️ But hey its not the worst if Aurora looks like an ihop :) maybe we will serve pancakes when we turn it on. 🥞😍

    I don't normally disseminate links from creationist websites, but this article about the Oklo reactor (the one that actually went critical, not the one only on paper that looks like an IHOP) is so bizarre and fascinating I couldn't help myself.

    Some stunning stanford kid was able to walk in the future. I would hire him on the spot. And ensure he never works from home on holidays so he doesn't lose that fire.

    stanford kid works extra hard to graduate a semester early. 3 grinding summer internships w/ startups. Gets into the google apm program and is STOKED... walks into day 1 tomorrow, office is completely empty only then does he realize no one at google ever does real fuckin work

    I wrote to about how important it is to support all clean energy incl fission. They thoughtfully replied- they've evolved, & it changed my mind on them. While not perfect, I think we can help best by joining, supporting & informing the UCS mission toward a cleaner future.

    (Yes, analog and paper, for real!) We are using fission power in a completely new way in comparison. We have been working with the regulator to change this structure so that new, emissionfree, inherently safe, waste-to-energy plants can help fight pollution. It's happening!

    For some perspective on how crazy California is, i just learned that now the min income to qualify for the only home currently available in our mobilehome park is about $100k/yr. At min wage ($16/hr), you need to work 120hr/wk, or more likely 2 ppl working 60+ hr wks, to qualify.
