    Low vaccination rates among nursing home staff = vulnerable residents & staff How far behind is nursing home staff vaccination? Only 4 states (HI, CA, VT, NH) and D.C. have reached this minimum standard set by the industry in even HALF of nursing homes.

    The Alabama Dept. of Public Health says the % of COVID tests that are positive has risen to 7.7%. Highest level since April 3, when vaccines weren't available. ADPH will also now be updating its COVID dashboards daily. Hospitalizations and cases increasing.

    As a parent of two young children in a “very high risk” county in the least-vaccinated state, I wish there was more discussion of the fact that for people w/ young kids who can’t be vaxxed, the pandemic is decidedly not over. Millions of kids are still at risk of getting COVID.
