My heart is breaking for the teachers and the students. No one signed up for this. It's scary that we're all expected to carry on as if there's no other choice. There are too many brilliant minds in this country of good conscience not to find a better way.
I never expected that my son's first year in school would look like this. In Congress, I will fight for our kids to be able to go back to school safely. I didn't think I would be home schooling a 14yr old. I manged to avoid it for over 25 yrs but here I am.
