Five weeks ago, American Airlines announced plans to cut 25,000 jobs. Today, we still don’t have a plan to control the virus, and American says it must cut an additional 15,000 jobs. Washington politicians have let this pandemic spiral out of control. (2/4)

They didn’t listen to experts. They called it a hoax. Texans are angry. I’m angry. We’re losing lives and livelihoods every day, and while politicians in D.C. rush to bail out their wealthy special interests donors, our community has not received the assistance we need. (3/4)
