Texas Republicans like my opponent are leading an effort to end protections and jack up health care costs for every Texan with a pre-existing condition. If they're successful, 2 million Texans could lose access to critical coverage during this pandemic.

3 years ago, I donated a kidney to save the life of a stranger. As a result, insurance companies could deny me coverage for, in their view, organ donors have a pre-existing condition. We need to protect and expand the ACA so more Americans are able to give the gift of life.
This left me speechless....it makes having good healthcare even more critical. #ACA
