On July 4th, at least four children were victims of gun violence. Street vendors across the country are being robbed and shot, including a 70-year-old paletero from Mexico, Adelaido Bernabe, in Austin at the end of June. Shootings have risen in major cities.
In Congress, I will: - Make our schools safer - it shouldn't take a pandemic to slow down school shootings - Fight to end the gun show loophole and pass red flag laws, universal background checks, and an assault weapons ban - Stand up to the gun lobby to pass necessary reforms
