A year ago, I was in a video made by Terry McCranie that talked about what Pride Month means to me. Quintessentially, it's American because it's a rebellion. The first Pride that happened in Dallas was a year after Stonewall.
Equity is not born of complacency. Equity is fought for and maintained with love, with compassion, and with diligence.
