Mere days ago armed protests against masks were met with encouragement, and now unarmed protests for unarmed lives lost are met with military force. One group gets to ignore the consequences of their actions, another makes no small act without consequence.
A budget is a moral document: that our government hesitates to treat an illness or feed a child, but spares no expense to attack its own subjects is frightening and unacceptable. We need to elect people at every level, from precinct chair to President, who knows this and acts.
