When I visited Minneapolis as a Young Elected Official, I was so moved by the care that the city council members invested themselves fully in their communities. If everyone was invested fully in their communities you’d think they’d have done something by now about their police force. They’re animals, firing rubber bullets at reporters, tear gas into peaceful protests, kicking people sitting on the ground, attacking ppl walking away
