And I'll mention that the effects are felt down-ballot, too. I'm being questioned on my electability despite leading the field, despite being an elected official, despite garnering the most endorsements, and despite fundraising viable numbers without a wealthy network.

I know you can relate Secretary (fmr. Mayor (fmr. Councilman)) Castro! What you do matters. What your family does matters. Your work erodes the cheap formulas that comprise "electability." Your unenviable task is precious and many of us are grateful for it.
