Good morning from my brain which just spent 23 minutes to send a simple email because I couldn’t remember if the correct phrase is “...letter we signed onto” or “...letter we signed on to”

I spent 10 years teaching ESL kids SAT grammar, and prepositional phrases were the bain of my existence. There's no science to it, just brute force memorization. I will also spend 20 minutes trying to write a Tweet for the same reason.

Same here. I’ll put tweets in drafts and then go look up the grammar to make sure the grammar bot account doesn’t get me
