This does have the quicksand-like feeling of being in an abusive family. There are good days and bad days, but in aggregate the abuser is going down and taking everyone else unless they escape.
Narcissists try to fill up all available spaces with themselves. In the face of this we have to be relentless in our work, our values, and our vision. We can only #resist if we define ourselves by our standards, not his depravity.
