      I don't have a polished response to the fact that three people shot innocent families at the Walmart in my home city, El Paso. I have frequented there since I was a small child. My loved ones are OK. I can't process this right now.

      This is one of the reasons we've chosen not to arm teachers in my district: during an active shooter situation, even police can't easily distinguish "good guys" from "bad guys." Prevention is more effective than more ammunition.
