    FB didn’t respond to the questions on this last week – because it was pretty clear that accuracy wasn’t a big priority. But I have nothing to hide and I’m proud of the work I did with the 74. Have a nice day!

    It’s true - I previously served on the board of The American Federation for Children, described in the blog post as a right-wing organization. It is so very right-wing that Democratic presidential candidate Cory Booker also served on the board.

    There are accusations The 74 has it in for Elizabeth Warren. But all the negative pieces cited are labeled opinion. In journalism there is a difference between opinion and reported pieces. That’s why opinion is clearly labeled.

    The 74 is not part of Facebook News and the FB news team does not and has not supported The 74 in any way. I still care deeply about the issues The 74 covers so I remain on the board of directors w/no editorial role and make personal donations (it’s a nonprofit).

    These are tough issues Oliver - ones your own news org is struggling with in deciding who to pay to be on your air. Thanks for engaging on this.

    Facebook's doubles down, seemingly defends the company's controversial decision to include Breitbart in its tab marketed as a place for "high quality" information from "trustworthy" sources. Breitbart apparently meets FB's "integrity standards for misinformation."
