93% of cocaine in the U.S. comes from Colombia; 4% from Peru. Here's a review of the DEA's latest annual reports for 2018 (released Oct. 2018) & 2019 (released Dec. 2019). Venezuela is not mentioned once in the sections on cocaine. Bolivia does not appear once in 2019 report.pic.twitter.com/iN85I4zEsu

The DEA says that it conducts annual in-depth chemical analyses on samples obtained through bulk seizures. "analysis has consistently indicated that Colombian-origin dominates the market in the U.S." "Bolivia" did not even appear once in the entire DEA 2019 146-page report.pic.twitter.com/ZsY1joCEfK

The majority of all cocaine comes through the Central American Pacific corridor, that is to say: Not the Caribbean sea. A hefty number of large seizures take place near the U.S. Southwest border, according to the DEA. Venezuela has no access to this side of the continent.pic.twitter.com/XBlFOqyNnx

Transportation and Distribution: 84% of cocaine departs Colombia from the Pacific coast. The United States' South West Border (SWB) is the principle entry point. Seizures along the SWB are up for consecutive years, coming through San Diego (49.8%) and increasing, says the DEA.pic.twitter.com/eAjt86Ys87

104 pages into the report is a section on Transnational Criminal Organizations w/subsections for: Colombian TCOs, Mexican TCOs and Dominican TCOs. Venezuela only appears mentioned within subsection on Colombia, where the takeaway is that Colombia works w/Ecuador + Mexican cartels

The latest report actually showed that Peru's cocaine accounts for 6% of what's been analyzed in seizures by the DEA. This is significant increase. 90% Colombian origin; 6% Peruvian origin; 4% unknownpic.twitter.com/Pv2mWKFMJQ

Average purity of a cocaine coming from Colombia/Peru is way up. Average brick = 85.4% pure; 80% of bricks are completely uncut; a 35.6% purity increase from the year before—all while pure gram price deceases. U.S. govt is negotiating an all-around steal for U.S. cocaine users.pic.twitter.com/DofQKD6mop
