Why do Venezuelan migrants get to be called "refugees" and Honduran migrants are called "caravans?"
In fall 2018 the organizers, Honduran migrants themselves, deemed the organized groups 'caravans.' Subsequent groups to migrate from El Salvador and Guatemala also said they were organizing caravans. They are refugees.

My point is that the term "refugee" has become a tool of propaganda. A refugee is someone that is fleeing violence and war and has no choice but to leave. The Hondurans meet this definition. Venezuelans don't meet the criteria because they can go back home without fear .
