So a pro-govt mbr was democratically elected speaker while Guaido went to a newspaper office with some fellow US puppets and voted him speaker again. Is that what happened? This would mean he can't even keep up the pretense of being "interim President"
It wasn't a pro-govt member, certainly not from a Chavista bench. New head is from one of the main opposition parties which challenged Guaido's re-election & who will likely side w/opposition faction which calls for Venezuela to solve its problems internally, without Washington.
Certainly good news that random guy Guaido will become further isolated. I hope he fades away to obscurity
