Since everyone's so invested in the semantics of this, yes: We aren’t just 'on our knees,' the people have done everything including take up arms to demand an end to war & sanctions. Actually, Latin America & the Caribbean has a number of anti-imperialist projects and movements.

The problem is, we get on our knees too much, and beg too much, instead of standing up and telling it to their faces, without begging. The world is being destroyed around us, and we’re begging the bully to stop bullying. Capitalism is prepared to destroy us all.
