Journalist @MaxBlumenthal was arrested on Venezuelan opposition-fabricated charges. Press freedom muppets like Jorge Ramos couldn't care less about one's right to report.

A journalist for many years, out of the mainstream but widely published. Entirely innocent, arrested as 'armed and dangerous', jailed, then attacked by many in the media and defended by VERY FEW in the media. Deeply disturbing at many levels.

Unfortunately it's apparently only frightening when unjust imprisonment happens to the children of the middle and upper classes. The injustice has been long-term and wide-spread within the less fortunate classes, and has destroyed millions of lives. Yes, frightening and worse.

It is frightening. You'd be surprised how many cops & others abuse their jobs to do favors for friends working in gov't agencies & what they're willing to do for them. Integrity, ethics & honorable people are not what's running the justice system these days. It's gotten too dirty

Unfair, especially if someone is jailed for false accusations. It seems that it is the new trend, making false accusations as the right is doing in South America. It is not fair at all. Something must be done, Justice & the law is dying.pic.twitter.com/hL0U6QhPxu
