The coup admin literally had journalists and analysts fleeing Bolivia from so many threats and persecution beginning before the coup was even consolidated. It was extremely difficult for foreign journalists to work in Bolivia. The regime is responsible for mass censorship.
People are afraid to even communicate over messaging apps. No one wants to announce they'll be travelling until they've safely arrived STILL TODAY. Today I know someone travelling to Bolivia who can't reveal their whereabouts for fear of persecution.
