Whom is the US siding with? Their embassy in Khartoum is not just a building, but a huge compound, and the US do not have a habit of just watching from the sidelines....

US siding with the millitary atm they want stability n an ally to counter what they call Iranian influence in the region. Gulf Kingdoms are allied with different factions within the millitary services, they are all jostling for power atm. Only way to avoid all this civilian rule.
