Pompeo was very clear about the lifeline Cuba has provided to socialist movements and governments for decades and the US' intention to try to annihilate the threat. Biden's administration is almost as equally clear on this. 'Leftists' attacking Cuba is glaringly obvious red flag.

The CIA is well aware of how profound Cuba's role has been throughout our region and beyond, and it's not just medical brigades. Leftists/'leftists' will continue to be primary targets of disinformation campaigns, and racialized women will be primary targets.

I hope through @KawsachunNews people will at some point be able to see that black and indigenous people (and descendants of, like myself) are at the core of & on the front line of most socialist movements. Women have a massive role in Revolution.

The absurd idea that 'black & brown people' or any category of working class people 'aren't communists' is pure poison and extraordinarily factually inaccurate. Not everyone has the privilege to see different countries up close, but we have to work to dismantle these campaigns.

There are already actors trying to forge a connection between US-backed staged 'protests' in Cuba which are intended to destabilize the country—and George Floyd demonstrations in the United States. There are no commonalities at all whatsoever.
