There is no need to inconvenience a conspiracy theory. Of course one has to compare pre-Chesa w/post-Chesa, YTD 2021 vs 2019: Homicides +15.4% Burglary +21.9% Car Theft +33.5% Arson +56.3% http://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d … Shootings are up 105.2% YTD 2021 vs 2020.

You forgot to mention that rape, robbery, assault and overall crime are down from 2019. Pre-Covid stats and post-Covid stats aren’t really comparable anyway.

I did not. If you look at the numbers, you will see that every crime that needs people to be outside -rape, robbery, assault- was down during Covid. Not Chesa’s accomplishment. And of course they’re not really comparable if it does not align with Progressive scripture.

Except those crimes were up in many other cities in the local area. Our crime is reduced compared with our peers who are experiencing a nation wide crime wave. Reductions is Rape, Robbery, and Assault cannot be attributed to covid when other cities have experienced the opposite

I am not a Progressive, I am an evidence based realist. As far I can tell, the recall Boudin campaign is entirely based on the feelings of people who spend too much time on Nextdoor and feel afraid.

People can read numbers. People can read the news. The worst part is the 700 OD dead last year, which happened because
@chesaboudin can’t jail drug dealers for fear of traumatizing them. Also, watch how the mayor, the supes, and Progressives do absolutely nothing about it.3 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

Fentanyl has risen throughout the country. Drug kings have an endless supply of dealers trafficked against their will, whose family members are killed if they refuse to deal. So IF you want to stop fentanyl, ANY DA will have to fight the top players.

Well, fight the top players then. How does that vacate the need to arrest drug dealers so they can't murder addicts? King pins will replace them? So we'll jail those, too. BTW, I am challenging the the sob stories about the poor dealers being trafficked. Most aren't.

I’m challenging your blanket statement that no drug dealers are prosecuted if there’s winnable case.

Chesa Boudin 博徹思Verified account @chesaboudinReplying to @chezpim @MattHaneySFFact: approximately 20% of my general felony team's caseload are drug sales. We do prosecute these cases, everyday, for better or worse. As we've learned from the war on drugs after all these decades of failure: this is not a problem we can police or prosecute our way out of.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes
