Today we announced the prosecution of an SF Public Works manager for failing to disclose $250K in income. Public officials must serve the public, not use their position for their own financial gain. No one in San Francisco is above the law.https://twitter.com/meganrcassidy/status/1413167463022223360 …

$250K could buy a lot of Neiman Marcus handbags

In other words, to be clear, City Hall corruption is a much better use of a DA's time than handbag thieves. So, while we were all busy circulating video footage to prove Boudin's incompetence, Boudin himself was doing proper DA work.

What happens to all the Neiman Marcus employees when NM has to close in SF due to theft? What happens to all that tax revenue from NM for SF? It's really easy to blow off "handbag theft" as rich people problems. But NM employs working class people in retail.

Yea? How successful is that? Where are the results?pic.twitter.com/5uLrfcgE7O

Probably more successful than your Republican billionaire-backed recallers would ever admit. Those rich Republicans like to keep workers in line. Grateful we’ve got a DA who’s willing to fight for workers.

Yea "probably". Let's see the actual data.

How about not making a pointless, un-backable, data-less accusation in the first place. It doesn't take intelligence, strength of character or ethical morality to reactively smear.

Wow very good. I am fully acknowledging that I don't have the data to backup the results of the initiative you referenced. That's why I am asking for them....

If data were favorable to the DA, you'd ignore it. You're already primed to disbelieve it. All my responses are to your original - and rather bogus - accusation regarding working class folks at Neiman Marcus.

Oh ok. Yea NM employees are clearly millionaires who are working retail for fun. That's where I will leave you.

NM is the millionaire, if it shuts down or lays off folks due to shoplifters that would a choice on NM, not a forced decision. And by the way, shoplifting is being prosecuted. DA is doing his job.
