  1. Thanks to and for working together to complete this critical connection. As we build out our network of protected bike lanes over the next 6 years we will be creating more connections, making the network more useful over time for people of all ages and abilities.

  2. Around the same time the Kittie Knox bike path was finished connecting Binney St and Broadway. Kittie Knox, who was born in Cambridgeport, was a Black woman who competed in bicycle races in the 1890s while dealing with relentless racism and sexism.

  4. Take a look at this brand new two-way protected bike lane on Ames St! This means there is now a route safe for all ages and abilities all the way between the Charles River bike path and Binney St. It will also connect with future protected bike lanes at Main St and Broadway.

    New bike lanes going in on Bow, Dewolfe and Quincy st near Harvard Square. I use this route to get to The Charles so I’m feeling grateful.

    The Clippership Connector would be a critical connector between Medford and Boston. However, most of the path is only 8.5 feet wide which is very narrow. Please tell DCR that the path should be at least 11 feet wide wherever possible:
