go Chimamanda!! I'm not a feminist in the sense that people describe feminism today i.e. contending with men, but I applaud the serious work that women of the past have done to get us to this point, in terms of us being able to fend for ourselves. -

Lies. Feminism is about equality. Men see it as "contending" because women are challenging the status quo and the men dont like it. They want things to remain the same.
