While “not a conspiracy theorist by design,” says Former Pakistani FM @HinaRKhar, “I am increasingly starting to believe that the presence of the USA in Afghanistan is not for peace and stability,” but to “to create chaos in this region.”http://snpy.tv/2DBEGdz

Couldnt agree more. Al qaeda has been defeated long ago & Nato is looking for excuses & scapegoats to stay in afghanistan. After 17 years of occupation ISIS showed up in force & has been spreading everywhere. How?

Why would we do that when Pakistan is doing a great job of harboring terrorists and creating the chaos?

Because at one point the US supported the bathists/Saddam in Iraq; because at one point the US supported Contras in Nicaragua; because at one point the US supported Jalaluddin Haqqani... Since the demise of AlQaeda the US has had no clear mission or target

Amazed that you let that one pass, Christiane. When ISI was supporting Taliban before 9/11, the line was ‘Chaos in Afghanistan is the result of US leaving the region after Soviet withdrawal.’ Now it is ‘US presence causing chaos.’ Pls read this:https://www.the-american-interest.com/2018/01/12/non-ally-relationship-pakistan/ …

Pakistan could have accepted a broad-based Afghan govt instead of trying to impose hard-line Pashtun Islamists, first Hekmatyar and later the Taliban

She expressed the thoughts of the Pakistani nation rightly. US has other designs in Afghanistan that are visible. Taliban will be used just like ISIS was in Syria to destabilise and ruin the region.

US is accusing pak of protecting terrorists, but US doesn't want fence the border? Why? US doesn't want to leave AFG to have check on China, iran, russia and pak, and now pak is fencing the border to stop terrorists from crossing borders
