“You don’t leave power when imperialists dictate that you leave.” I sat down with Robert Mugabe for a rare interview, in 2009.pic.twitter.com/ShlRlaBuGW

To me his one of Africa's saddest stories - it really didn't have to be this way. He was visionary and brave but at the end used it against his people & that was his fall

Agree with Robert Mugabe....Gandhi & Mandela compromised with Imperialists to continue the exploitation of their people...they were traitors who were used by the West to get away with murder.

Mugabe coulda been smarter..transforming himself into a Monarch earlier..Zimbabweans would have accepted his wife as his successor..Possibly, his wife may have urged him on over the past decade..limping yet ruling..She's the serpent that led him into disgrace.#Shame#PassiveNation

Did he leave power when he lost elections in 2008? Oh I guess MDC is an imperialist organization. Will he leave power when ZANUPF MV calls for his resignation? Oh maybe it's another third force of imperialism. #Tongai gidi

The coup d'etat in Zimbabwe is a lesson for some African countries. When citizens refuse to show courage and effect change, the military sneaks in. Political class in Nigeria should be smart to listen to call from citizens to restructure the country and revert to #TrueFederalism.
