Except his policies are working and that’s the problem with the media - you ignore that fact

Depends on what you mean by "his" and "policies" and working." meh

He couldn’t figure out healthcare “nobody knew ...”, even stock market is tanking after tax cut for corporations, deficit skyrocketing, check mortgage rates for new homes, hate crime and massacres at all time high. Yeah, working wonderful. But at least he was able to secure Kaney

So many countries have. Even Sarah Palin crosses the border to get medical attention in Canada. Oh now you understand markets, I hope you paid attention to s&p tripling in value under Pres. Obama. What about the deficit? Maybe that is the real problem isn’t it?
-
Yes, Obamacare is a dumpsterfire and yes the Congress should’ve been better prepared to fix it, hasn’t happened. Economy is as good as it’s been in a long time, including stock market. Tax cuts were great. Yes, deficit is a huge...lots of disagreement on why and how to fix.
-
One sentence you say how great the tax cuts (mainly for the rich) are, and next sentence you just can’t figure out why the deficit is so huge...

Jon Stewart nails it. Important distinctions to be made between cable, broadcast tv and radio, national and local print. Cable has become unbearable — narcissistic bloviating around shiny objects in thin narrative cycles

-
I agree with your point. We did not have access to cable news for many years. When we finally signed up for expanded cable a couple years ago, I watched cable news once in a while, but had to stop and went back to watching PBS NewsHour. "Bloviating" is the perfect descriptor.
-
That's because cable news isn't about news; it's about making money. Whether you're left watching CNN or right watching Fox, you're watching "your" source to hear what you want to believe. They know it and pander to it in order to sell advertising.
-
Yep. A phenomenon that Facebook has perfected with personal data and algorithms to horrifying precision. Recommend everyone watch

Never considered idea of FB (and other social media) being “weaponized” But, that’s what’s happening.

Twitter, too.

Yep. And Amazon similar in retail, to the detriment of every Mom & Pop on Main Street, USA.

And we will rely on the Comedians to tell the truth.
-
Yeah. They do.
-
No they don't - they spin things even more then pols spin things.
-
Comedy is about using humor to speak truth to power.
-
It can be, that is true as any expression can be, but it certainly is not inherently so. Currently I would say the late night comedians are much more partisan than truth speakers - my opinion.
-
Well one party controls literally all of govt... if those in power right now are all republicans, it makes sense the "truth to power" is against the republicans... but instead of considering that people are programmed to scream "partisan"!
