Wow, a really surprising response the content of which is not the least bit surprising. At least there's one guy who tells it like it was instead of pretending his head was in the sand for decades. #Truth

Agreed- as ugly as it is, this proves once again Redford is a class act. Flawed like the rest of us - but note how he said”I created an alternative” he left Hollywood. Operated his business from afar. He has a stellar reputation

That's the problem. Until all of the non perpetrators stand up for the victims, the perpetrators will continue to harm others for their own pleasures. It is everyone's job to change what is wrong in the world.
-
Agreed. Like Redford said it is now time to make the change

A tribute to all the people who suffered sexual abuse and found the courage to speak out.

Shocked and saddened by this revelation from

There is not one star in Hollywood-not one actor agent casting director or manager who if they were being 100% honest, would say otherwise. He just has the authenticity to say it like it is. Everyone knew it was going on. But now we are in a new time and it will not be tolerated

Would he have been more proactive if he was hearing about rampant racism in the industry? White people need to stand up against racism, men need to stand up against sexual harassment.

AND THERE'S THE PROBLEM !!!

Yes - I believe you are right. But I do respect the guy for speaking the truth. Nevertheless it is indeed ugly truth. But thank God things have changed.

Or are changing slowly.

Very honest. Although
#metoo
has opened the eyes of many people that the problem is even much more widespread and ugly than they thought.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

What you miss in your
@cnn vid is what’s in my@AmanpourCoPBS clip: You mention@sundanceorg, then segue to#MeToo
issues.
#RobertRedford is SO disingenuous—It all WAS “at his feet”:#HarveyWeinstein & others sexually harassed me & many women when I worked@sundancefest in 90s

He also said he was removed from it, that it ddn't reach him at any time - that it was "out there". Your quote makes him sound more indifferent than he came across in the interview.

The "casting couch" has been an integral part of Hollywood culture for as long as Hollywood existed. Burn Kevin Spacey's movies? Well, OK. Are we all of burning Clark Gables', Humphrey Bogart's, Cecil B. de Mills' movies as well?
